That’s right DC Comic geeks the superhero that most of us could care less about has just set up a 150 million dollar production deal in Sydney, Austrailia. Martin Campbell (Beyond Borders, Casino Royale) will direct with Chris Pine (Star Trek, Smokin’ Aces) rumored to star in the titular role. I can think of at least 10 other DC comics I’d rather see turned into films before this. Does anyone else think this joke will have a hard time making back it’s budget?

Hey, I couldn’t care less about this either. But I’m still going to see it. ‘Cause that’s the kind of douche I am. It’ll make back its budget. Barely. I would much rather see Green Arrow, if they’re going for the whole color spectrum thing.
