According to a press release from The American Film Market an official sequel to 30 Days of Night has been announced. Not much is known about the plot, but it’s thought to involve Melissa George’s character taking revenge on the Vampire bastards that killed her husband. I actually enjoyed the first one, though it was a bit uneven. It had some great gore, decent acting and the storyline, though typical, was just thick enough to keep me entertained. I’m on board for the sequel. Anyone else?

Except that that book wasn’t great either. They just need to find a way to bring back Ben Foster’s character because he was the best part of the first one.
