Sadly it’s true.Paul Newman has passed at the age of 83 after a long battle with cancer. A great actor, a true bad ass, and I’ll be damned if he didn’t distribute some pretty good salad dressing and spaghetti sauce. The man is a legend and will be missed. If you haven’t seen much of Newman’s filmography watch it all. Even if the movies weren’t great, he always was. Here are a couple of recommendations:

You forgot to mention in your credits a _wicked_ race car driver. My earliest recollection of him was my dad and I heading up to Lime Rock Park to see him race for Skip Barber. Also – just to set the record straight – he got his salad dressing and other organic products start with some kick ass microwave popcorn in the brown sack. He’ll be missed. One of the last of a generation of multifaceted actors, directors and producers. Godspeed Paul.
