The good peoples at Bloody Disgusting are reporting that director Vadim Perelman (House of Sand and Fog) is in serious talks to direct MGM’s Poltergeist reboot. As I stated before in the hands of the right person a Poltergeist remake might not be a bad idea. While I did enjoy House of Sand and Fog and do appreciate Perelman‘s visual style is he really the best we can do?

i’m sick of unnecessary remakes, hell they are remaking both friday the 13th and nightmare on elm st, they already did halloween, texas chainsaw massacre, the hills have eyes, amittyville horror, the omen, prom night, the hitcher, i mean christ come on whens it gonna stop
